We were happily surprised when one of our customers brought a bit a good news into the shop during our last opening!



It's an article from BAY AREA SPACES MAGAZINE, The Premier Magazine of Design about Room With A Past! They had contacted us a few months ago after researching local booming businesses, and came by to take some photos. We always celebrate women at Room With A Past!

(Heck, just being a woman is an art!)

Because, (as much as we love 'em) guys, well,

they don't always "get it"; this love of being surrounded by beautiful things!

We can't help it. We see a cute baby in the shop,

grab one of the cute hats we've got on display

and before you know it, we've got ourselves a cutie-patootie photo op!

Who could resist those sweet little "ROOMIE-in-training" bundles?!?!?!

Ok, this one's may NOT be wearing a HAT, but his name is Gavin Lee Huddleston (Grandma is a ROOMIE) and he IS wearing a smile!!!

From all of us ROOMIES and FLEAS; hope all you moms and grandmoms have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Standing The Test Of Time

If time has to march on, then at least give us something nice to look at while we watch!!! How can you resist these cute faces? From elegant to funky (dig that pink triangle!), these clocks are popping up all over the shop. Which means it's time for us to mention this: April 2010 ticks off the sixth anniversary of Room With A Past! That's right! It's been six years full of timeless treasures and one-of-a-kind finds for you, and a huge group of loyal (not to mention really, really FUN) customers for us! Please give yourselves a hand as we head into another year of even more good times!

It's Just Like Riding A Bike!

There are some things you will never forget, and having FUN should be one of them! We had an impromptu Parking Lot Sale during our last opening at the shop to promote more FUN than one person should be allowed to have!

Luckily, there are now 31 of us in-house ROOMIES, so the FUN was spread amongst us all!

And with 31 of us, we had a parking lot FULL of bargains:
